Trip Itinerary
Soft adventure journey in an open boat. Trips leave every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday during the months of July and
August.

We will pick you up at your B&B or Hotel for an 8:30 meeting at the Kayak Shack. We will be packed and on the water by
11am for exciting adventure.

In the two days we will visit the Wonderstrand. Our first stop will be at the tip of the 54 km sandy beach that is visible from
the space shuttle. It's one of the features on the earth's surface that is visible from space and the place where the Vikings
walked as they explored North America. Visiting Packs Harbour and Pigeon cove where fisher people lived for hundreds of
years is a must. If winds and weather are in our favour, we will get to see Snack Cove, the archaeological site dating back
nearly 4000 years.

Our overnight stay will be in a tent in a remote cove or sand beach or if you wish, we will return you to Cartwright for a B&B
or Hotel Stay.

The Wonderstrand is a beautiful sand beach that stretches for
some 54 km along the mid Labrador coast. Join our experienced
guide as we skim the shoreline along the coastal waters as he
shares with you his love of "The Big Land", the people and the
way of life.
