The fishing is incredible and the rugged beauty of the region offers the experience of a lifetime in a remote area at the base of the Mealy Mountains. Each night you will camp along the shores of the Wonderstrand or on an island in the Labrador Sea. The pristine environment of Southern Labrador is one of the last frontiers and you are invited to make it part of your fishing vacation.

Trip Details
We will leave from Cartwright in open boat within your schedule and take you and your party to several locations known to our fishing guides as the best local fishing spots. Each night will be spent along the shoreline of the Wonderstrand or the remote islands. We will cook over an open fire, plank your trout, learn about the aboriginal way of life and how the local culture has been influenced by both the Aboriginal and European ancestors.

You will have lots of opportunity to photograph local seabirds, seals and whales. Our trips also provide opportunity to see icebergs and phenomenal sunsets.

We provide the boat, safety equipment, tent, food and utensils. You need to bring only your personal clothing, rod, reel and sleeping bag. If you do not have a rod and reel, don't worry, we can supply that too.

Upon booking we will provide you with a clothing checklist and charts.
