This four day tour will be the ultimate paddle in the Labrador Sea. Trips leave every Monday during the months of July and August.
We will pick you up at your B&B or Hotel for an 8:30 meeting at the Kayak Shack and we will be packed and on the water by 11 a.m. Our journey will take us to the Wonderstrand, Packs Harbour, Pigeon Cove, Prisoner's Island, Dumplin Harbour, Indian Harbour.
In the four days, we will paddle where Aboriginal people paddled for thousands of years as they traded along the North American Coast. We will visit the Wonderstrand written about in the Viking Sagas and Packs Harbour where there was once a great summer fishery. We will also camp along the shoreline where archaeological exploration is uncovering artifacts that were left by our ancestors 4000 years ago.
