Trip Itinerary
Paddle in the Labrador Sea.

This trip will take us southward paddling with the Labrador Current, In which 10,000 year old arctic ice from Greenland's
fjords may be found drifting along, constantly being changed by the ocean's forces creating magnificent forms of art.

Paddlers meet at the Kayak Shack by 8:30 am the day of the paddle and we will put in at Cartwright Harbour by noon.
Each day there will be something new to see. In previous years we've paddled with Minke whales as company nearly every
day. There were puffins, ducks, gannets, seals, and icebergs.

Some of the places we will be visiting include: Hare Island, Hare Harbour, Cartwright Island (remains of rock houses),
Curlew, Cape North, Mullin's Cove, Entry Island, Quaker's Hat Island and Sand Hill Bay and on to Indian Tickle.
Day 9 we will return to Cartwright via power boat.

Trip Distance: 95 kilometres one way, return by Open Boat
